January 10, 2025
Due to an emergency repair, Ross County Water Company is issuing precautionary boil advisory for customers in your service area until Sunday, January 12 at 2:00pm.
Roads included in the advisory: County Road 550, Musselman Station Road, Overlake Drive, Shepherd Road, Hill Farm Road, Simmons Road, Ackley Road, Sulphur Lick Road, Smalley Lane, Shiloh Road, Steiner Road, Maple Grove Road, Mount Carmel Road, Jamison Road, Gullette Drive, Biers Run Road, and Blazer Road.
During this advisory customers are encouraged to bring water to a rolling boil for at least 3 minutes prior to human consumption. This includes water used for drinking, ice making, food preparation, and brushing teeth. Refrain from washing light colored clothes as the water could be discolored until flushing is done in your area. Please note that the issuance of this advisory is just a precautionary measure due to the potential of contaminants entering the water supply during the repair. The advisory is issued to allow the necessary time for the water to be tested.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
